Join us on May 4th at 9 am for this epic event, brought to you by Chuck’s CForce Premium Artesian Water! But this is no ordinary 5K. As part of this event we are also going to attempt to set the world record for the most people in one place to be dressed as Chuck Norris.
The race will take place at the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum in College Station, Texas.
Your race registration includes a custom Chuck Norris style t-shirt, a fake beard, and a sweet belt buckle. All similar to what Chuck would wear, and all part of our world record attempt for the morning of the race.
If you really want to get your inner Chuck Norris on, you can create your own look alike costume from one of Chuck’s many epic moments on screen! We will have a costume contest immediately after the race. Prizes will be given for:
Best male Chuck Norris costume
Best female Chuck Norris costume
Best kid Chuck Norris costume (12 and under)
This race is family friendly, and we encourage you to bring everyone, including the little ones. How cute will little Billy look dressed up like Chuck Norris?! Strollers are welcome, but no four legged friends.
The race will kick off (get it?) at 9 am, right after a few words of encouragement from the man, the myth, the legend himself….Chuck Norris!
And yes, Chuck Norris will be waiting for you at the finish line to greet you with an authentic Chuck Norris high five (Please note: organizers are not responsible for any injuries that might occur from allowing Chuck Norris to give you a high five).

Packet Pick Up
You may have someone else pick up your packet with a copy of your picture ID. A digital image via mobile phone will be fine. One family member may pick up all family packets with just his/her ID.

We are beyond excited to announce that 100% of all race proceeds will be split equally between Kickstart Kids and Mercy Project.
Kickstart Kids is a martial arts character development non-profit organization, formed by Chuck and Gena Norris in 1990. Today, the program operates in over 59 schools throughout Texas. The program is taught in mostly middle/junior high schools and some high schools. They currently serve more than 9,500 of today’s youth, making a positive impact in their lives by teaching character through karate. To learn more, visit www.kickstartkids.org.
Mercy Project, based in Bryan/College Station, is working to eradicate child slavery in Ghana, Africa. To do this, they are implementing economic development projects in various villages and communities in Ghana where an estimated 7,000 children work as modern day slaves. These new economic opportunities give an alternative to the forced child labor present today. To date Mercy Project has rescued more than 125 children out of child slavery. Where will the event take place?

I am registered as a VIP to have breakfast with Chuck Norris. What do I need to do?
The VIP breakfast will take place at the address above from 7:30-8:30am on race day. We will contact you directly with all of the VIP details as we get closer to race day.
Where and when is packet pick up?
Packet pick up location will be at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum on the Texas A&M Campus.
Packet pick up hours will be 9am-6pm on Thursday and Friday 5/2-5/3 and on race morning 6am-8am for out of town runners only.
What do I need to pick up my packet?
You will need to have your picture ID.
Can you mail me my packet?
No. All packets must be picked up during the designated packet pick up hours.
Can I pick up a packet for my friends or family?
Yes. You can pick up your family packets with your ID. You can pick up a friend’s packet with a picture of their ID (image on phone will suffice).
What time does the event start?
The event will be on Saturday, May 4th. The world record attempt will take place at approximately 8:30am. The race will start promptly at 9am.
What time should I get there?
Please plan to arrive no later than 7am if you are from out of town and picking up your packet on race morning. If you pick up your packet on Thursday or Friday, plan to arrive no later than 8am on race morning. Earlier is better. This will ensure plenty of time to get parked and make it to the world record staging area. We have a lot of people coming!
Where will I park?
Parking will be located in the Aggie game day parking lot across the street from the Library. You will receive more details and a detailed map via email as we get closer to race day.
Do I have to wear the “Race Wardrobe?”
Yes. In order to be included in the world record attempt you must wear the “Race Wardrobe” provided in your packet. You can then take it off before the race actually begins.
What time is the contest costume?
The costume contest will be held at 10:30am.
What are the costume contest prizes?
We will award some Chuck Norris worthy prizes to male adult, female adult, and kid (12 and under) for Best Chuck Norris look alike costume.
Can my costume include guns/fake guns?
No. Due to security concerns, your costume cannot include any type of guns or fake gun(s).
Are strollers allowed?
Yes. We just ask that you start towards the back.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are not allowed on the course or in the pre-race/post-race area.
Can I have my picture taken with Chuck Norris?
Only those who chose the VIP option when registering will have the opportunity to have a picture taken with Chuck Norris.
Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
No. Registrations are non-transferrable.
Can I transfer my registration to the virtual race?
No. Registrations are non-transferrable.
Can I buy a registration from someone else?
No. Registrations are non-transferrable. If you buy a registration from someone else, you will not be able to pick up a race packet.
What happens if it is raining on race day?
This is a rain or shine event. The event will happen as planned unless there is a threat for severe weather (lightening).
Can I get a refund?
Registration fees are non-refundable. There are no exceptions to this policy.
